6 Signs You’re An Earth Angel

You might know these types of people by a couple different names – either lightworkers, earth angels, or something similar. Maybe you even feel like one of these special people yourself. Lightworkers literally have come here to spread and share their light as much as possible, and bring about positive change to this planet. They have no patience for hate, intolerance, violence, or oppression; these types just want everyone to live in harmony and move on from our current problems on Earth.

Lightworkers don’t resonate with much in the modern world; often, they feel like old souls who have come here once again to restore and renew the planet. They relate to the way the world worked when we lived off the land, in harmony with each other, the animals, and nature. While they know that we probably won’t ever go back to that way of living, earth angels simply want us to live in peace with our world now. They want abundance, laughter, happiness, and joy for all, and are some of the most selfless people you will ever meet.

Earth angels want to align with pure, loving energy, and by doing so, help others to find their highest self in this lifetime. They want to transcend the problems and heartache, and live in true harmony with the Divine. They have good intentions for themselves and the planet, but often get frustrated with our current state of affairs.

If you feel like you might be an earth angel, but aren’t sure, read on to bring more clarity into your role on this planet.

Earth angels have obviously come here for a grand purpose, but saving the planet comes at a hefty cost. Sometimes, the Earth angel will feel overwhelmed by all the problems in the world, and feel as though they can’t ever come close to making a difference. The Earth angel can get quite frustrated and tired of things on this Earth, and feel desperate for change. They don’t enjoy being around big crowds and loud people, as the conflicting energy can make them frazzled and anxious.

Earth angels also have high sensitivity to violence, hatred, and basically anything portrayed as negative by the media and news outlets. They tend to hide away in the comfort of their rooms much of the time, as a way to protect themselves from the hectic, overstimulating outside world.

If this sounds like you, then you might just be an Earth angel.

The lightworker, or Earth angel, loves spending time in solitude to recharge and rebalance their energies. Like we said in the first paragraph – these types of people get overwhelmed frequently by the world today, and use their time alone to heal and prepare themselves for the next encounter with the outside world. They enjoy really digging deep into their psyche and healing parts of themselves that have been broken. Earth angels know that in order to change the world, they must change themselves, and work tirelessly to become the best version of themselves.

Do you feel empathetic towards others, and want to help them through their problems? If so, you could be an Earth angel. These people would drop everything to help someone in need, as they have suffered themselves and don’t want to see anyone else hurting. Lightworkers feel deeply connected to their fellow humans, and just want to provide solace to anyone who needs it. Earth angels understand how difficult and scary the world can seem at times, as we live in uncertainty almost constantly. Who knows what tomorrow may bring, but lightworkers know that they can make positive change today.

They live in the now, and want to make as much positive change for others as possible. Earth angels can relate to other people’s struggles, as they have likely been there before.

You don’t relate to worldly desires and the structured path. You don’t like the programmed, conditioned society we live in, and have never felt compelled to follow in other people’s footsteps. You want to make your own mark and live by your own rules, and don’t like people telling you what to do. You feel called to do something more than what people consider “normal,” and couldn’t dream of living life being unfulfilled. Earth angels may feel a strong pull to do something in the field of humanitarianism, such as being a social worker, counselor, acupuncturist, or massage therapist. They see themselves as healers, and want jobs in fields where they can live out their passions.

7 Ways to Attract Someone Who Adores You

Who are the people in your life you adore and are inspired by? What is it about these individuals that stimulate your inspiration? Perhaps it’s a mother, father, sister, brother, grandparent; could be someone who is not related, or a romantic interest. Is it their humor, strength, intelligence, honesty, energy, resilience, or something else? You can probably think of at least one person that has influenced you in this way.

Have you ever thought about the parts of your personality that make youadorable?  Your mind may be too distracted by the day-to-day processes of life, but the truth is, you do in fact possess the qualities that people adore and admire. You may have even already inspired someone with these qualities without knowing it.

Adoration is one of the strongest emotions, and it creates strong very strong feelings of attraction. By exhibiting these qualities, we can indeed create feelings of attraction and admiration in someone else.

You may already possess some of the following qualities, or you may not. Either way, it doesn’t mean you can’t develop qualities that attract someone who adores you. Here are 7 ways you can create that attraction and adoration from someone special:

“True love is not a strong, fiery, impetuous passion. It is, on the contrary, an element calm and deep. It looks beyond mere externals, and is attracted by qualities alone. It is wise and discriminating, and its devotion is real and abiding.” – Ellen G. White

Nothing is more attractive than someone who is comfortable with being their authentic self both alone and in public.  Attracting someone by being someone other than your true self, your true self will eventually shine through, and could set you up for failure.  Simply put, people realize, respect, and adore what makes you who you are.

We are all nothing more than an embodiment of pure love, and to create something outside of that only creates a temporary shell. Don’t be afraid of who you are, you’re absolutely, authentically beautiful

Even the most uncomfortable honesty shows that you have confidence, and that is a very attractive feature. Being a dishonest person is a selfish, manipulative, and egocentric behavior.

There may be someone who disagrees with your unfiltered honesty. They may not demonstrate compassion, and may even act ignorant or judgmental. No matter how people react to your honesty, the truth is that you’ll attract the right people – those who adore you for being your authentic self.

Bottom line: be honest your actions. Anything else will not give you a desirable result in the long-term.

Life can be very overwhelming sometimes, but a good sense of humor is a tremendous asset that causes attraction and adoration. For women, there’s actually a biological reason why they view humor necessary in their relationships.

In a study done at Stanford University, 22 children aged six to 13 were shown a series of video clips – some of which were funny and some not. The children were hooked up to an fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging machine) to measure their brain’s activity. The results were that girls showed more positive feelings and a sense of reward in response to humor than the boys did.

11 Simple Ways to Practice Self Care and Release Stress

Life often produces “pre-packaged stresssfulness” that can come in many forms.  Buying a car, house, paying for college, looking for jobs, etc. are all examples of this. How you deal with the stressful situations however, makes all the difference. Stress can either eat away at you or empower you; it all depends on the self care strategies you employ to deal with the stress when you encounter it. If you have been extra stressed lately, it’s important to remember the value of YOU and take time for proper self care,

In our fast-paced society, we often forget to slow down and pay attention to our breathing. Taking short, staggered breaths can increase your anxiety by restricting air flow to your lungs. Deep abdominal breathing has been shown to slow down the heart rate, decrease blood pressure, and also give your mind clarity.

When you find yourself in need of self-care, take deep breaths and visualize yourself in a calm, peaceful place. This will help decrease stress and regulate your breathing.

Eastern cultures have been practicing the self care ritual of meditation for centuries, as it is believed to connect us to our higher selves, spiritual masters, angels, and spirit guides. We can also restore cells and even transform our DNA though the practice of meditation. When you sit or lay down in a tranquil spot and just focus on your breathing and the pleasure of being alive, you can tune out of stressful situations and tune into what truly matters – your Spirit within.

If you have been feeling a little disconnected and overwhelmed, try implementing crystals, peaceful or inspirational paintings, a small indoor Zen waterfall decoration, or even some lush indoor plants. All of these can balance your energies and give you a sacred space to relax and find inner peace again if you have been feeling frantic and scattered.

Oftentimes, stress can build up if we haven’t had adequate time outside. Bonding with the Earth keeps you grounded and connected with yourself and all that is. The sun shining on your skin can revitalize you and remind you what a blessing it is to be alive.

Nature provides powerful healing properties that can make you forget the causes of unease and stress.

Aromatherapy can automatically lower stress levels and trigger a deep, peaceful response. In addition to relieving stress, it is believed that aromatherapy can help to boost the immune system. Stress can make you vulnerable to illness, and aromatherapy can stimulate chemicals in the brain that help fight infection.

One of the most widely-known fragrances to aid in stress relief is lavender. Try burning some lavender incense the next time you feel a little on edge. You can even buy lavender essential oils if you don’t like burning things in your home.

A warm embrace from someone you know or even a stranger is a simply yet powerful self care tactic that can reduce your stress and remind you of all the positivity life has to offer. Hugging increases production of the “love hormone” oxytocin. This, in turn, causes your blood pressure to drop, heart rate to slow down, and gets rid of any tension you may feel. It also makes you feel loved, welcome, and comforted.

Harvard Psychologists Reveal: Parents Who Raise ‘Good’ Kids Do These 5 Things…

In this era of technology, we find that raising children is a bit different from those times before the iPOD, iPHONE, computers, Internet, and all the other amazing gadgets that consume us.Children played outside. They kicked a ball across a field. They played with cards rather than chasing Pokemon on a screen. Children played outside until the street lights came on and they knew they had to go indoors. We are raising children very differently now than we did twenty or thirty years ago. But, perhaps it’s time to return to basics.

This is a new world. Children born in this time automatically are given gadgets to entertain them. But, what are we missing? Psychologists at Harvard University have been studying what makes a well-adjusted child in these changing times. They have concluded that there are several elements that are still very basic.

It’s a simple suggestion. But, we are living in challenging times when we are on 24/7 through technology, work, and the bombardment of busy lives trying to stay afloat. It’s not just social media – the news, emails, texts, or the fluctuation of being on call at all times strains our relationships. We have become accustomed to the addiction of putting ourselves out there. It’s easier to give a child a toy or an Xbox console to keep them busy.

Spending time with your children means putting everything down, reading a book, kicking a ball, hiking, or just playing an old-fashioned card game. In simplest terms, it means that you interact with your kid person-to-person. These are the things they will remember. They will forget what you bought them. They only want to spend quality time with their folks.

According to the Harvard researchers, “Even though most parents and caretakers say that their children being caring is a top priority, often children aren’t hearing that message.”

It goes back to spending time to find out what’s going in your child’s life. Check with teachers, coaches, tutors, and other caretakers. Find out if there is a shift in behavior. Allow your child to feel comfortable to come and speak with you. Your child needs to hear that he/she is top priority in your life. It’s not enough to show them by giving them things, keeping them safe, or feeding them. Children require acknowledgment through words. Words are important. Invite them to sit and share their stories about school, homework, friends, and so on.

One of the greatest gifts you can give your child is the ability to analyze and solve problems. Trust your child to decide for himself what he wants. You cannot solve their issues all the time. It’s healthy to allow them to experience life through their own lenses. Achievement is important and, in allowing them to determine what they want, you are gifting them awareness.
